Review of The Meg (2018) by Voodoo123 — 18 Jul 2019
For the moments it surprised me by succeeding, The Meg fails in equal measure with its lacklustre storytelling, weak character design and uninspired photography. Despite not acing the more technical points of what constitutes good visual storytelling, it was more entertaining than it had any right to be! If you are even the slightest fan of the 'crazed animal attacks people horror' film genre then there is something here for you to enjoy.
