Review of The Medusa Touch (1978) by Stephen W — 02 Apr 2008
Burton is a reluctant telekinetic who can kill peole with a look, and his powers expand until he causes massive disasters. It is a bit of a TV movie, but taken seriously by both Burton and Lino Ventura the detective who pursues him.
It is kind of a low key "The Omen" with a tendency to tell rather than show, unfortunately. It also reminds of the Ursula K. Le Guin novel whose central character's dreams can change reality.
Worth a rent.
