Review of The Mask of Zorro (1998) by Ben P — 23 May 2010
Both emotional and action-filled. Despite the plot being, dare I say it, cliche', the acting (especially by Hopkins) truly made it believable. Catherine Zeta-Jones playing the damsel not-so in distress, while still a leading female, was a breath of fresh air too. And last but not least, Antonio's quick wit was just the icing on the cake.
One of the most impressive elements I found was the fact the it had a great amount of action and very little special effects. Long story short, it is an old favorite of mine, and you should definitely see it.
