Review of The Mask of Zorro (1998) by James O — 23 May 2011
This is the movie that put Antonio Banderas in the spotlight of Hollywood. I didn't have great expectations about this movie but actually is really good; The story of Zorro(a kind of Robin Hood for the latins) is really good; here we find an older Zorro(Antonhy Hopkins) who had fall from grace(his wife was murderer and his daughter was kidanapped) teaching a young man(Antonio Banderas) the virtues of being a good man in order to become Zorro.
Antonhy Hopkins as always great and Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have a great chemestry. The movie combines really great action, comedy and drama; really good movie....
