The ultimate in mind-control/conspiracy flicks! It was so successful, it spawned several imitators (_Telefon_, _Black Sunday_) - even had life imitating art ala Patty Hearst, etc. - but this is the source material.
The Ladies' Garden Club dream sequence is clearly the scene of the movie (just see the movie - you'll know what I'm talking about as soon as you get into the scene)! It's also very faithful to the book, which I also recommend.
