Not since Clint Eastwood movies have we had a real chance to see a protagonist that barely speaks throughout a movie. Billy Bob Thornton is excellent as the untalkative, chainsmoking barber, living a truly unsatisfactory existence, that is until a ridiculous series of events unfold.
