Review of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962) by Kaitlin M — 24 Oct 2007
As someone who isn't a big fan of John Wayne or Westerns in general, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Even if you find Wayne's swaggering, slow-talking persona grating, it's easy to focus on the sweet, brave idealist that is Jimmy Stewart.
Exciting and poignant and just a good film overall.
