John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart seem like one hell of a strange mash-up but they act as wonderful foils to one another and Lee Marvin is such a fantastic jerk of a villain as the titular character. More drama than action, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance is well worth a watch.
