Review of The Man Who Never Was (1956) by Hiatt N — 20 Aug 2012
One of the great forgotten war thrillers. The Man Who Never Was is surprisingly taut for its age, and the final sequence of events is almost unforgettably entertaining. There really isn't much depth to the film, but there doesn't need to be, it's such a romp.
I would reccomend this to anyone looking for a good, light time with an old time film. In that way, it's a good introduction to the stylings of fifties pulp cinema.
