Review of The Man Who Never Was (1956) by Craig B — 20 Jul 2009
This is one of the slowest WWII espionage movies I've seen. It's so interested in being faithful to the true story that it forgets to inject any excitement into the plot. So you may ask why I've given it a fresh rating? What can I say? I'm a sucker for WWII espionage flicks, even boring ones.
Oh, and Clifton Webb is pretty good.
