Review of The Man Who Laughs (1928) by Dylan C — 28 Mar 2008
This is quite possibly the best silent film ever made. Perfectly realized with some incredible shots, this Universal silent film is something far grander and impressive than "The film that inspired the Joker.
" To my mind it beats out Caligari and Birth of a Nation for favorite silent film. And Frankenstein and Dracula for best Universal "monster" film.
