Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) by Gareth R — 26 Dec 2007
Who better to remake a film than the man who made the original? Hitchcock goes to town on his own creation, replacing Lorre with Stewart and giving the film a much darker overtone. It's not as good as the first, but it's a different film altogether and Jimmy Stewart is undeniably brilliant in the lead.
