Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) by Chris L — 03 Dec 2013
I personally have only seen this version of "The Man Who Knew Too Much," rather than the original 1934 version. I can say, however, that this is a fine film regardless. James Stewart and Doris Day play a married couple vacationing in Morocco whose son is kidnapped and becomes entangled in a web of political intrigue.
The pacing can be off at times, but there are several memorable scenes in the film, namely when the MacKennas are on the phone with the kidnappers and the famous opera house scene. Definitely worth a look.
