Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) by Louis D — 13 Jan 2008
I distrusted filmmakers that redo their own films for Hollywood, until I foudn out Hitchcock had done that very thing to open his way unto the Californian movie meca.
And to be honest, this version is quite a lot more exciting, visually appealing, suspenseful and enjoyable than his 1934 version.
I might not be a Doris Day fan, but damn if her and Jimmy Stewart don't make a great pair onscreen!
