Better than the original, largely due to a bigger budget and the opportunity for Hitch to take his favourite lines and script solutions from his 1934 film and leave what he was disatisfied with. Changing introducing location from Switzerland to Morocco was great, as well as the involvement of a larger scheme with the cunning Draytons.
However, the absence of Lorre is sadly too present.
