Alfred Hitchcock gives his 1934 British thriller a Hollywood makeover with big-name leads in James Stewart and Doris Day, Technicolour and a Bernard Herrmann musical score. Not amongst Hitchcock's best films by a fair stretch but certainly enjoyable.
