Good in its era, and a step in Hitchcock's development as a thriller director, but filmmaking has hugely evolved since this time. This was still early in the sound era, when production companies thought it was great to have sound at all, and didn't much care to dawdle on the actual audio design.
But hey, it has the "M" guy.
