Review of The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) by Boris K — 04 Apr 2015
I think this (early?) movie of Hitchcock is in some aspects more real than some of his later Hollywood works. It is said about "My Friend Ivan Lapshin" by A. German that it has so much reality in it, that it is almost painful.
I find same thing here: the scene of shooting of police with the gang in a house is too real for a cinema.
