Review of The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) by Andrew I — 19 Dec 2009
Strange and for the most part, interesting and intelligent too but regrettably cheapened somewhat by overuse of frequent and tiresome 'arty' bedroom scenes, which in turn stretches the total running time beyond that of many viewers' patience.
The alien stuff is by far the highlight of this film. Nearly great, but not quite.
