Review of The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) by Jeff B — 29 Jul 2007
I am absolutely stunned by this film. I originally saw it because it had Bowie, but this film's merits FAR, FAR exceeds the "celebrity." It's excellently shot and very symbolic. The story is heartbreaking and poignant: the outsider of the world, looking in.
And the sex scenes were integral to the story, people -- it showed the downward trajectory of Newton's life.
