I know many people don't like this movie... I think it has very good things in it. cate is absolutely stunning as a russian danver and john turturro is absolutely convincing as dump opera star... the music is heartbreakingly beautiful.
.. ok, christina ricci is pretty mediocre and the plot sucks sometimes..
