Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Semira M — 16 Sep 2008
A very joyful classical masterpiece, unique and elegant in everything beginning with the smart quickly-spoken dialogue by a collection of marvelous actors especially "Bogart" of course, he deserved his career, especially with "John Huston" who took his first step here as a director, producing one of the greatest classical film-noir ever.
Watching this was very entertaining specially that "Bogard" was performing an exceptional private investigator dealing with a tricky woman through one of the most complicated screenplays taking into consideration the year of production. (i liked the trailer listed here too).
