Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Phillip J — 30 Jan 2010
An enthralling detective film that will have you hooked to the very end. The acting was brilliant all around, but Humphrey Bogart was undeniably at the forefront. My only qualm with the film is that some of the details were too easily swept aside and forgotten, which kind of makes you wonder why they were addressed at all.
