Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Andy P — 04 Oct 2008
Bogart is the perfect actor for Private Eye roles, so it's no wonder that his portrayal of Sam Spade, like Phillip Marlow, can entertain audiences for decades. Director Huston presents a grave mood that is now common in film-noir, thanks to some great camera work and a haunting score.
