Review of The Magnificent Butcher (1979) by Dean M — 16 Feb 2011
What I thought of this classic kung fu film is real "magnificent". Sammo Hung Kam_bo is comic, fierce, expressive, and a joy to watch in action. He brings lots of superbly choreographed action, plenty of cheesy, but fun humour, and even a reasonable plot, which actually gets quite nasty at times.
Yuen Biao gets a great showcase fight too - one that shows his martial arts ability more than his acrobatic prowess.
