Review of The Magician (1958) by Jordan L — 30 Sep 2011
Pure brilliance. A study in the loveliest form of classicism- Bergman channels the greatest dramatists with this film. An environment of absolute dread. Max von Sydow is brilliant also with exceedingly wonderful supporting performances by Ingrid Thulin and Erland Josephson.
It is a wonderful film.
