Review of The Magdalene Sisters (2002) by Chad G — 19 May 2008
I came across this dvd while perusing at BMV last week. I remember watching this movie back in 2003 at the varsity and loving it. I believe it was at this movie I caught the trailer for whale rider. I felt for these women who were faced to give up all their beliefs, hopes and dreams to a life of cruelty and punishment.
Powerful acting by everyone in the film and definitely a must see for all.
