Review of The Lovely Bones (2009) by Jordan A — 10 Apr 2015
Starts out promising, but loses focus and the audience. Sadly it tries to gloss over death and grieving with slo-mo and soft lighting.
The parts do not complete the whole, and the emotional changes and uneven tone undo the whole thing.
Go see Heavenly Creatures 1994 for a cohesive blend of reality and fantasy done in an astonishing way.
2 out of 5.
