Review of The Love Bug (1968) by Kayleigh F — 01 Feb 2009
Great, entertaining movie. Great to see all the old post-60s cars throughout this one - Jaguars, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and even an IMC Apollo 3500GT at the end (Peter Thorndyke's yellow car). Even today, it's still an interesting idea with some cool effects.
Very 60s, with the dialogue, the clothes, and the hippie-factor that's on the back-burner throughout with Buddy Hackett's character. However, this does nothing to detract from a car-racing classic.
