Review of The Love Bug (1968) by Jeffrey P — 24 Sep 2009
Charming, low-tech comedy makes the most of the Volkswagen Beetle's innate cartoonish appeal. Some ethnic humor is a little awkward today, but overall is the script is fairly progressive with Michele Lee and Benson Fong's characters.
Solid performances and clever practical effects round out the package.
