Silent films tend to be difficult for modern, THX viewers to sit through. But, like an all-subtitle movie, once overcome, is easily enjoyed. The Lost World proved fun, a precursor to Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jurassic Park.
The visuals for its time were amazing - so much that people watching it for the first time in 1925 believed the film crew had actually videotaped living dinosaurs!
