For many, it will be too languid and lacking a pulsating screenplay, while for others, it will be deeply rewarding and profound. Thus, it is with this later response that The Lost City of Z is a film to admire and respect in an age of remakes and rehashes.
The interspersed construct of the story may loose a sense of immersion in the enveloping environments, but this does not hinder a classically-shot, evocative and poignant real life tale.
