Fantastic filmmaking from start to finish. The Fellowship of the Ring starts off this epic trilogy with a bang. In my opinion, everything about this movie is great and there is something for all film buffs to like here.

The fantastic directing from Peter Jackson, the fantastic acting, the gorgeous visuals and fun action scenes, the fantastic dialogue, and the epic and memorable as hell score from Howard Shore. This film does such a great job introducing you into the world of Middle Earth and it does an extremely well job at giving you fleshed out characters that you end up rooting for and telling its story.

It is credit to the writers and director who make this picture something unique. Peter Jackson directs this film so well and he put his heart and soul into making this franchise. The whole cast does an incredible job at delivering believable performances and giving you memorable characters.

The visuals, cinematography, and makeup here are fantastic and you can tell the filmmakers put hard work into those things because you get fun action scenes, believable looking orcs, and beautiful shots of Middle Earth.

This movie was worthy of all the academy awards it got in my opinion. Howard Shore's score is mindblowing and fantastic in every way possible and it gave me chills during a lot of scenes and with its help it delivers the emotions that are needed in scenes.

The dialogue was well written by the script writers and you get memorable quotes here. When the movie ends you are pumped up to watch the next two films and I can't wait to review those after watching them.
