Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) by Andy S — 24 Aug 2018
Wow, the story can't help but ensnare the viewer. Very quaint an charming place to live in the countryside of the Hobbits. It starts off kind of lame and corny but soon turns into something a bit more serious and interesting. I can see how this movie inspired games like Oblivion and Skyrim.
The Cgi and special effect are pretty good given it's time. Terrible punishment for wanting to be greedy and seek ultimate power, but that's what you get. It's crazy how easily manipulated anyone can be when faced with the ring. It holds incredibly evil power.
Wonderfully rich in color, aesthetic, and atmosphere. This movie's got it all. Romance, action, drama, adventure, science fictions, the whole shebang. Epic movie for sure with a greatly written tale.
