Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) by Anthony N — 25 Jul 2013
The first step in a deep dark journey, that still has some way of making you feel light hearted and good about yourself. Peter Jackson's interpretation of one of the finest pieces of literature not only can connect the unconnected to this fine piece of work but intice them.
As you start the film you can see the magnificent cinematography of Peters work and how he truly brings the shire, and the rest of middle earths landscape to life. He also chooses perfect actors to bring some of the greatest characters in the fantasy genere to life.
In all it is a great film if you can follow the complexities in the sub plots and refrences to Tolkiens other works. The only problem to this film is that it leaves you wanting more, and after you watch it you feel intriguied, and emotionally tied.
