Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) by Cole C — 13 Dec 2015

This movie, like any other, had its ups and downs. One of the things I personally thought mirrored the book was the portrayal of the Balrog and the battle between it and Gandalf a little later on. However, there were also things that weren't in line with the book, Like Arwen having a speaking role while in the book she never spoke a single word.

A lot of the parts were very similar to the book and it was not hard to understand what was happening. However it was those moments where it drastically strayed from the book that killed it for me.
