Thrilling, memorable, and classic piece of cinema. I don't know if Peter Jackson will ever be able to top the mastery and magic of his Lord of the RIngs Trilogy. The first chapter perfectly balances the introduction of the characters and the story with packed action and tense drama.
Still holds up.
