Something about this movie was just empty. Characters were too weak. The idea was good but the way they executed it on screen was dry and predictable. And they left too many loose ends that just kind of annoyed me more than drew me in.
Like the girl who skipped town and didn't even stop for him. Who really gives a shit if she's leaving town, she was a cruel asshole anyway. The moments they tried to create were just so NOT emotional or moving for me.
Plus all the females in the film practically looked the same too, so it was confusing at times.
