Well before â??Saving Private Ryanâ?? there was â??The Longest Day.â?? What makes this movie great are the stars who took part. John Wayne, Eddie Albert, Richard Burton, Sean Conery, Red Buttons, Fabian, Henry Fonda, Robert Mitchum, Roddy McDowall, Sal Mineo, Peter Lawford, and the list goes on.
The story of the invasion is told by many sides, American, English, French, and Germany. Top notch movie with one of the greatest casts ever.
