Review of The Longest Day (1962) by Jeremy L — 26 May 2008
Amazing. Usually, movies with casts with many big names fall hard, but this one doesn't. It chronicles the D-Day invasion by the Allies at Normandy. It's black and white, but the events are extremely accurate, and for it's time, the effects are great.
It's really long (almost three hours), but I recommend it to anyone who enjoys war films.
