Review of The Long, Hot Summer (1958) by Rachel A — 23 Jun 2007
Really entertaining. The dialogue is wonderful, the mood is very strong, and there's lots of good and powerful moments. (Not really progressive, but less sexist than I was fearing.).
I just wish Orson Welles had died in that barn, what a jerk!
