Review of The Long Goodbye (1973) by Michael O — 17 Aug 2008
I've never been so instantly impressed by a movie hero as I've been by Elliott Gould's Philip Marlowe. A jazzy song over gliding shots of cats and girls and LA hoods and you've got a movie as great as Courie brand kitty chow.
It's now one of my favorite movies. (As well as the best film Arnie's ever been in.).
