Review of The Loneliest Planet (2012) by John C — 27 Oct 2012

THis movie is nonsense. Do not believe the reviews from so-called "critics" that desperately want to "get it" in terms of the movies pretentious faux artiness. The landscapes are beautiful and for the first hour the slow, hypnotic pace is appealing, However, the "incident" that changes everything is absurd and the responses even more absurd and the characters unlikable and uninteresting (with the exception of the local guide).

Towards the second half of the move you will just want it to end so you can do something more fulfilling with your time. Trust me.
