Review of The Loneliest Planet (2012) by Pourya E — 20 Feb 2013
A subtle yet strong arthouse film that both crawls under your skin and punches you in the face. Its unsettling in its way of making you anticipate something bad to happen, yet comforting in its way to make you realize and reflect about your prejudices and mistakes.
Its reminiscent of Kiarostami in its visual language and landscape shots.
