I watch most movies in the background while im doing something else these days, for better or worse, so I managed to avoid the glacial pacing issues alot of people complain about. this is more a texture film, the movie is more like montage of pictures really, the main character stares at museum painting until his eyes blur, you look at fields from the point of view of moving trains *more than once* .

I dont think id mind so much if this movie had more about it. its so wispy that if I even tried to spoil the plot, there wouldn't be anything to say.

One thing bugged me though, the soundtrack by Boris is interesting enough, but when I slowly started to recognize songs of theies I know and realized it wasn't an original score or anything, just that jim jarmusch just decided to have an entire soundtrack from the Boris discography, it really inform how I saw everything else in the movie from then on. it seems more haphazard, and things had less meaning, and I saw it for what it was.
