I've watched most of his films now and I can say with some certainty that i'm sort of here nor there on Jarmusch. I just don't care that much. So, I was surprised because I actually kind of liked this movie.

Maybe it's because my expectations were so low after all the negative criticism, or maybe I was just in the mood for one of those movies where nothing really happens, but I thought it was rather nice and created a unique static atmosphere.

It is definitely an action movie without action, a thriller without any thrills, it's completely stripped down and overloaded with self-aware pretension, but at the same time, intriguing.
