Review of The Limits of Control (2009) by Paul A — 25 Jan 2010
This is not a film for everyone. If you're put off by slow obscure, meaning in the nothingness sort of films, skip it. However, if you're intrigued by films that challenge you to find meaning with barely anything to work with, check it out. My view might change 6 or 7 years from now when I decide to watch this again, but for now, it seems as though Jarmusch goes too far to the obscure side of things. Then again, everything is subjective.
"It's great that the audience have their own different takes on what they have just seen, and don't know all the answers. Often, I don't know all the answers either." -Jarmusch.
