This movie irritated the heck out of me. It felt like a parody of an "artsy" movie. The cinematography and photography were beautiful, but added to my irritation because those are what compelled me to watch.
The details, colors, the sparse minimalism made me think something would......happen! I feel like I bought a product that promised climactic results, but never delivered. And I mean NEVER delivered. Its cryptic messages amounted to nothing, the plot--SPOILER ALERT but I'm doing you a favor (i.
E. "Don't bother") amounted to nothing. Since it got me waiting, waiting, waiting for the great unveiling that never happened, I feel totally duped. Ya got me. You win. A bad movie, and I rarely say that.
