Review of The Limits of Control (2009) by Nick P — 09 Feb 2010
Jim Jarmusch is unbelievably talented as a director, and this film shows it for sure. In turns of storytelling though, I couldn't help but be thinking throughout this entire film that it was going to be based solely on the ending.
When the ending finally came, it wasn't worth it to be honest. This movie was just way too slow to have a non-satisfying ending. The process that Jim went through to make this film could not have been the right one, because the entire idea of it will just fade away unlike his other films.
Pointless effort and wasted talent in my brutal opinion.
