Review of The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943) by John B — 21 Feb 2013
The satire was a little lost on me. Perhaps it was the fact that I saw a particularly lousy copy and the only one I could find had a descriptive voice droning on in between the action. It was badly timed with a release during the war and Churchill was ticked.
Seems harmless by today's standards. Maybe a bit too harmless.
